ARCHIVAL HOLDINGS

    Township Papers / Heritage Committee Architectural Files

  • A variety of historical articles written about the Township over the last 30 years
  • Sources for the research of English, German, Irish and Scottish family histories in Puslinch
  • Research on houses of historical/architectural importance
  • Settlers' Maps containing the names of individuals and the lot (s) they occupied in 1833, 1834, 1835, 1839, 1840, 1841, 1842, 1843, 1844, 1851, 1861, 1867, 1877, 1906
  • Puslinch Township Papers - ( microfilm - 4 reels ) - containing a wealth of information regarding the land transactions of the early settlers of almost all lots in the Township. see example
  • These are the earliest land files. If your ancestor was an original landowner, check these records. They may include location tickets, certification of settlement duties, or correspondence from your ancestor. 

  • The Surnames of those associated with each concession from the earliest times to the present
  •  Photographs, and maps illustrating the history of the area.  
  • Records from St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church (Arkell, Ont.)

Donations:

They welcome the donation of records that pertain to the history, people or events of the Township.

Every donation is catalogued, and donors are asked to sign a form relinquishing ownership of original documents. If you would like to donate an item, but wish to retain ownership, we gladly accept copies.
