earliest land files. If your ancestor was an original landowner, check these
records. They may include location tickets, certification of settlement
duties, or correspondence from your ancestor.

Every donation is
catalogued, and donors are asked to sign a form relinquishing ownership of
original documents. If you would like to donate an item, but wish to retain
ownership, we gladly accept copies.
