St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church (Arkell, Ont.) fonds. -- 1853-1942. -- 7 cm of textual records.

The first settlers arrived in the area in 1831 and the church was founded shortly thereafter. At that time Arkell, Ont. was known as Farnham, Ont. The name appears to have changed in 1878. During the 1930s the rector of St. Patrick's, Guelph, Ont. was in charge of the parish. The fonds consists of parish registers containing statistical records and Vestry minutes and financial registers. Most of the fonds has been microfilmed on 1 reel, numbered 191.
